🔮 The Lorexicon Prompt Advisor
Your Arcane Counsel for Sharper Incantations
Chapter I: What Is the Prompt Advisor?
The Prompt Advisor is Lorexicon’s built-in counsel — a keen-eyed scribe who reviews your prompt before you commit it to the forge. Click the Advise button on the creation form (right alongside Submit), and it will study your incantation, then offer suggestions to make it richer, more specific, and more likely to produce the creation you envision.
Think of it as a seasoned mentor peering over your shoulder, whispering: “You could ask for more here,” or “Have you considered specifying the creature’s lair?” It never rewrites your words — it simply illuminates paths you may not have considered.
Chapter II: Why Use It?
Even veteran summoners sometimes stare at a blank prompt and wonder where to begin. The Prompt Advisor helps in two ways:
- When you’re unsure what to write. Jot down even a rough idea — a name, a theme, a single sentence — and the Advisor will suggest ways to expand it into a fully realized incantation.
- When you want to sharpen what you have. Already drafted a prompt? The Advisor will review it and point out opportunities for greater detail — mechanical nuances, narrative hooks, environmental flavor — that can elevate your creation from good to legendary.
The goal is never to replace your voice, but to ensure the forge receives the clearest possible instructions.
Chapter III: It Costs You Nothing
Here is the rune most worth remembering: the Prompt Advisor does not consume any of your monthly creation quota. It will never deduct a single spell slot from your allotment. Only the final Submit that sends your prompt to the forge counts against your quota.
Discard the Advisor’s suggestions and you can consult it again — revise your prompt, click Advise once more, and see fresh counsel. Only when you click Use does the Advisor step aside for that creation, its wisdom now woven into your incantation.
Chapter IV: How to Use the Prompt Advisor
- Open the creation form and select your creation type (NPC, Creature, Hazard, Encounter, or Merchant).
- Write your prompt — even a rough draft or a few scattered ideas will do.
- Click the Advise button next to Submit.
- Review the suggestions. A dialog will appear with the Advisor’s counsel — a revised version of your prompt along with an explanation of what it changed and why, so you can judge its reasoning before deciding.
- Choose your path:
- Click Use to weave the Advisor’s suggestions into your prompt.
- Click Discard to dismiss them, keep your original text, and consult the Advisor again whenever you’re ready.
Once you accept the Advisor’s counsel with Use, it has spoken its piece for that creation — the incantation is yours to submit. Should you Discard instead, the Advisor stands ready to be consulted again, as many times as you need. It returns fresh for every new creation.
Chapter V: Tips from the Arcane Archives
- Draft first, advise second. Write your best attempt, then let the Advisor show you what you might have missed. Its counsel is sharpest when it has something to work with.
- You are still the author. The Advisor suggests; you decide. If its counsel doesn’t suit your vision, click Discard and proceed with your original incantation.
- Pair it with Contexts. If you have Contexts selected, the Advisor considers them part of your prompt — so its suggestions will complement, not duplicate, your existing lore.
- Use it for unfamiliar creation types. Summoning your first hazard or merchant? The Advisor can guide you toward the details that matter most for that type of creation.
Go forth with confidence, adventurer. Let the Advisor hone your words, and let the forge reward your precision.
